The First Trek!
I was like looking at my “baul” then i saw these photos remembering my very first mountaineering slash hiking slash beachineering experience 4 years ago. Wow! my first experience is an exploration! Meaning, no mountaineers had ever tried that trail pa. But now it is not left unknown to mountaineers. Location? At Mt. Nagsaza situated in the province of Zambales. An exploration with an Aeta tour guide, Mike (Michael Babao) -“the so true mountaineer” in the group, Mina Quinto -“an ex co-workmate”, and “my three new acquiantances” Ronald, Mark and Rachel -Twas the first and last time i saw these 3..haha, i wonder where on earth are they now!
Twas a 2 day experience. A whole day trek that started out around 630 in the morning after a jump off in Brgy. Cawag in Subic Zambales. Grabehh, since its my first, i was like wishing that a helicopter could pick me up and bring me home. Sobrang nakakapagod! With all the init from the sun, the long day hiking..urrrgggh! But after we reach the peak, wow! Breathtaking! Ang ganda! Nakakawala ng pagod! Yewl realized how wonderful to live, How beutiful life is! Indeed, God is Good for such creations! Here are some photos of our exploration. Hope yew too can appreciate the beauty of nature just like i do.

There’s no one in this world but Him that owns us. With Him we truly belong.
